Even if you do your best to maintain excellent oral hygiene, it can be difficult to clean inside of these damaged areas. Sometimes, it’s best to use a preventive resin to seal and cover these problem areas before they can lead to further damage.
Our preventive resin is made from tiny fragments of silica blended into a resin. It matches the natural shade of your teeth, so it won’t be visible. Using special tools, we carefully apply it to the damaged areas of your teeth, use a special light to help it dry, and then polish it to ensure it’s effectively blended in. The procedure is comfortable for the patient and can prevent needing root canals and other serious dental work down the road.
